“Loving Service at Christ: Across the Street & Around the World” is the second of four videos that will highlight each area of the mission statement of Christ Lutheran Church.
The mission statement of Christ Lutheran Church is to connect people to Jesus through:

so that they may know, and grow in, his love.
On Saturday, April 26, from 8 am – 12 noon, we’ll build another wheelchair ramp (and freedom) for the homebound. For ages 14 and older. Location of the Texas Ramp Project site is to be determined. Please contact Jordan for details and to sign up.
On Tuesday, April 29, from 9-11 am, we’ll sort and label books at BookSpring (2006 Greenbrook Parkway, 78723) and help them prep for an upcoming event. BookSpring launches children into a world of reading. Please contact Jordan for details and to sign up.
Everyone is welcome, not only mothers, on May 10th, 2014. Bring some pictures of your mother or grandmother. If you have stories about them please share them with us. There will be a free will offering going to our building repair fund. Please let the Church Office know if you plan to attend.
On Saturday, May 17 from 9-11 am, we’ll volunteer at Austin Pets Alive (1156 W. Cesar Chavez, 78703). As a volunteer group, we cannot walk or handle dogs in the same capacity as a fully oriented and trained volunteer. We are limited to cat interactions and other jobs and tasks around the center. These include but are not limited to: laundry, kong stuffing, clean up, gardening, painting, donation sorting, handywork, bathing, treat bin filling, bowl washing. Austin Pets Alive! is focused on helping the healthy and treatable pets at risk of being killed in a shelter. Only 10 volunteer spots available.
