Volunteer to help with Mobile Loaves & Fishes’ Genesis Gardens program. With the help of the homeless of our community, they have constructed a Mini-Farm in the heart of the Community First! Village (9301 Hog Eye Road, Austin, TX, 78724). They have 120 fruit trees, 40 chickens, 12 community garden beds, and over 4000 square feet of organic vegetable production. On Saturday, March 15th, from 8:30-11:30 am, volunteer to build just a little more of this beautiful, creative, and edible food forest. Contact Jordan for details and to sign up to serve.
There will be a brief meeting after late service on Sunday, March 16th to gauge interest in a summer trip. We will discuss possible sites, dates, and costs. All those with any interest at all should attend this brief meeting or contact Pastor John or Jordan to express your interest.
