Central Texas Food Bank

Central Texas Food Bank - On Saturday, January 31, from 9 a.m. - 12 noon, we will be volunteering in the Product Recovery Warehouse of the Central Texas Food Bank (6500 Metropolis Drive, Austin, TX 78744) to inspect, clean, sort, box, and prepare donated food and non-food items to distribute to the CTFB's Partner Agencies and the communities they serve. The minimum age to participate is 8 years old. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is age 21+. Each adult can chaperone up to two minors. We have 20 volunteer spots reserved for our group. Each person volunteering for the Christ Lutheran Community Connections shift on Saturday, January 31 with the Food Bank will need to register with the Food Bank for that outing by 9 am Monday, January 26.
