Worship Services
We offer two services on Sunday mornings, one at 8:15 am and another at 10:45 am. Our 8:15 am service is a traditional service with music provided regularly by the organ and also accompanied periodically by brass. This service reflects the rich historic liturgy of the Lutheran Church.
Our 10:45 am service is a less traditional service, blending the structure of our liturgy with a more up-to-date style. This service still includes hymns led by the organ, but also makes use of original and contemporary musical pieces led by a band comprised of keyboard, acoustic and bass guitars, drums, fiddle, accordion, mandolin, banjo, and more depending on the musicians available that day. The music also may include the use of various brass instruments.
Along with a variety of instrumentation and musical styles, the 10:45 service is specially geared toward children with a children's message as a regular part of this service. On Sundays when communion is not observed, there is an opportunity for individuals and families to spend some quiet time with God at the altar in prayer.
As part of the wonderful tradition of music in the Lutheran Church, we offer both an adult vocal choir and an adult/youth bell choir which participate regularly in each of our various services, weekly and seasonal. Music.
A nursery attendant is on duty for both services. Activity bags for young children are available for those who attend services in the sanctuary. Personal Sound Enhancement listening devices are available for both services. Large print bulletins are provided for those who have sight difficulties.
Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month in the 8:15 service, and the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays in the 10:45 service.
Special worship services are held on Wednesday evenings during the Lenten (pre-Easter) and Advent (pre-Christmas) seasons. Other special worship services are celebrated on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter sunrise, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Sunday School & Bible Classes
We offer Sunday morning classes from 9:30 to 10:30 including:
•Sunday school for all children, nursery through 6th grade.
•Classes for Jr. High and High School youth.
•Adult Bible study class led by the Pastor.
•Adult topical Bible study classes led by lay leaders.
•New members' class (periodic).
•Special classes on occasion.

Other Bible study opportunities during the week include:
•Serendipity--A women's monthly Bible study group.
•Small group Bible studies--meeting at various members' homes.
•Confirmation class at 6:30 pm Wednesday (during the school year).
•Vacation Bible School (VBS) in the summer.
